FASS offers free confidential support, advice and information to family members who have been affected by a loved one’s drug or alcohol use.
Our values
The objective of the Charity is to support families who may be in anyway affected by a family member's /loved ones drug and/or alcohol misuse.
We aim to make a positive difference in the lives of people looking for support through various routes such as family support, referral to support groups and being there to provide advice, guidance, and assistance where appropriate. We aim to enhance resilience, develop strategies and offer other resources for development and growth.
Our Spa also allows for people to access holistic therapies. We also encourage the development of individual Family Support, Kinship and Bereavement Groups. Peer support is a powerful tools for the loved ones. These services are delivered by a committed and caring team of staff and volunteers who promote and protect the welfare of vulnerable people and their families.
We ensure that our services are economic, efficient, and effective whilst being open and responsive to the needs of the people using our service.
The Charity's principal activity during the years continued to be the provision of care and support for the family and friends of people who misuse substances.
